Application
  • Autonomous Navigation Support:

1. In advanced autonomous mode, the operator can set target points, waypoints, or geofences for the UGV via a data link.

2. When a UGV encounters a complex situation it cannot handle (such as failing to circumvent an obstacle), it will request human intervention via the data link.

  • Multi-Platform Collaborative Operations:

1. In military or public security settings, UGV data links can be integrated into larger tactical networks.

2. "Mosaic Warfare"/"Swarm" Concept: Multiple UGVs share information via data links to collaborate on missions. For example, after a UGV discovers a target, it automatically shares this information with another UGV carrying an attack payload via a data link.

3. Collaboration with UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles): UGVs can receive aerial view information from UAVs to fill in their own blind spots. Conversely, UGVs can provide ground relay or charging services for UAVs.

  • Data Relay:

1. When signals from other devices (such as another UGV, individual soldier equipment, or UAVs) are blocked due to terrain or distance, UGVs can act as data relay stations, extending the communication range of the entire mission team.
